Quick start
- Tap + and choose a photo or video.
- Open People, choose a person, then tap Mask.
- Use Regions to blur anything else and Clip to trim a video.
- For video, tap Render. Compare Masked and Original before sharing.
Common questions
Does Maskerij change my original photo or video?
No. Maskerij works with a local project and creates a separate finished result. Your original in Apple Photos stays unchanged.
Why do I need to render a video?
Rendering creates or updates the finished video after your edits. You can then compare the masked result with the original before saving or sharing it.
What if a face was missed?
Open People to review who was found. You can use the person tools to find, link, or track a head, and use Regions to blur another part of the scene.
Can I adjust a 3D mask?
Yes. In Fit, drag the mask to position it, pinch to resize, and twist to rotate. Review the full moment before you share it.
